Racing the Yak Attack for Cancer

I am a health and fitness advocate and my next challenge is the Yak Attack in Nepal from 5 to 15 November. This is the highest mountain bike race on Earth, climbing to 5,416 m through the Thorong La pass and into the Upper Mustang region. 10 stages, 500 km, 15,000 m altitude gain and a temperature range of +30°C to -20°C.

In partnership with Exercise is Medicine Singapore, I aim to raise a target of $30,000 for the Singapore Cancer Society.

Cancer is a topic close to my heart. My mother lost her battle to lung and brain cancer when she was 48 years old. My stepmother succumbed to brain cancer and passed away within a month after her prognosis. Most recently, our domestic helper had uterus cancer but thankfully she recovered.

I am grateful for what I have and the life I live. However, some are not so fortunate, like those suffering from cancer. With your help, let’s make a difference to their lives.

If you can, please support me and the Singapore Cancer Society by donating here.
